How to become intelligent? How can I improve my intelligence and become smarter?
Posted on April 4, 2010How can I improve my intelligence and become smarter? Is there food I can eat? Should I read broad sheet newspapers? What can I do?
Well now…
Here are some good ways:
-read: make an effort to read 3 news articles a day (and not ones you would find particularly interesting, try ones on politics and business. This will expand your understanding of new fields and concepts you may not understand).
-puzzles: logic puzzles like crosswords and sudokus offer a chance to challenge your thinking capacity and teach you how to improve your reasoning and logic skills
-watch tv: no not rubbish sitcoms and gameshows, try watching the discovery channel or history channel. Find some shows on there that may be of interest to you (like mega structures or shark week, stuff that is informative but will keep your attention).
Now, assuming the lights are off and it is at night…
Memorize the positions of everything in your room, make sure there is nothing breakable here because the next two steps may be their undoing…
Now close your eyes, sit down and walk through your room in your head naming each item in a clockwise or ant-clockwise direction.
Once that is done, turn off the lights in your room and try and do a few things while in the dark.
Most of all do not be scared to copy others who are already intelligent, ask them questions, read up on items you don’t understand using things like wikipedia and yahoo answers.
Foods that are considered great for the brain are: fish (especially sardines and salmon), cous cous, more can be found here
